It marks Stafford’s second career podium finish after placing second in 2016 and is the first time a Varsity Blue has won the individual crown since her sister, 2016 Olympian Gabriela DeBues-Stafford, did it in 2015.Toronto’s women placed third overall with 78 points, behind the Queen’s Gaels (37) and Guelph Gryphons (57).Katherine Lampard was the next Blue across the finish line, placing eighth in 29:09.4. Lampard and Stafford were also named OUA all-stars for their stellar finishes.Fourth-year veteran Jazz Shukla placed 18th overall (29:46.6), while Christiana Agustin (30:31.4) and Tanis Bolton (30:36.4) were 25th and 26th, respectively.Toronto’s men placed seventh overall with 162 points.Rookie Jack Stanley was the first Varsity Blue across the 10km finish line in 25th with a time of 32:38.4. Sam Kinahan was not far behind in 29th in 32:44.4.
