We did everything right apart from them scoring,” Holloway said.“We had about three or four who could have stopped him. We left our goalie one-on-one. He (Brown) got in behind the whole of my team – very disappointing.“The rest I was thoroughly delighted with. I thought we moved the ball and looked a threat. “There were one or two things wrong in the wide areas – we didn’t quite get the placement of the players I would have wanted.“But a lot of what we worked on in the week they got right. We moved it, passed it. What we didn’t do was score. For a lot of that game I thought we were really good.“We’ve got lots of fantastic footballers and I thought you could see the skill that they’ve got.”But Holloway, whose team are now 18th in the table, admitted the second-half performance was less impressive. “If I’m disappointed with anything, it’s the second half,” he said. “I’ve got to hold my hand up for that. We didn’t get that right and I’m very disappointed in myself.”last_img read more
