View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram Meu eterno namorado❤ My forever ValentineA post shared by Gisele Bündchen (@gisele) on Jun 12, 2019 at 7:17am PDTDecember 2006: The blind dateIt all started with a blind date. Brady, who was in a relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan at the time, agreed to meet Bundchen for a drink. Bundchen said she knew it was love at first sight. She spoke about their date during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.“You know, when I saw those kind eyes, I literally fell in love, like, right away,” she said. “I was like, ‘What?’ He was just so—you know how sweet he is.”Brady broke up with Moynahan shortly after his blind date with Bundchen and the two officially became an item.February 2007: ComplicationsThings got a bit complicated for the new couple when Moynahan announced she was pregnant with Brady’s child.”It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking, I’m dating this guy, we met, and we started dating and everything is great and then this happens,” Bundchen told CBS This Morning. “So, then I felt like I didn’t know what to do. It was kind of one of those moments of like, ‘Do I just run away?'”Moynahan and Brady welcomed their son, Jack, now 12, in August 2007. Bundchen refers to Jack as her “bonus child.” View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram What a ride this past 9 years have been. I love learning and growing with you. My sister Pati and Tom’s sister Julie each read a beautiful poem, and everyone had a slice of the chocolate wedding cake. Tom had made playlists — his had songs by Ray LaMontagne, Amos Lee, James Taylor, and others—and at some point my friend Nino, whom I’ve known since my earliest days in New York and who’s like a brother to me, plugged in his iPod. The kids went swimming in the pool, while guests danced around in their bathing suits.” 12 years ago, you blessed our lives with your love and light! And I was like ‘What are you doing?’ He’s like, ‘I gotta go on my knees,’ and I’m like, ‘No, no, no! Get up, please!'”February 2009: MarriageBrady and Bundchen got married on February 26, 2009, at a church in Santa Monica, California.Only 20 people attended the intimate ceremony, according to Brides.”We planned it in like 10 days, and it was perfect,” Brady told GQ later that year.
